Dustless Blasting
Dustless Blasting utilises a combination of compressed air, water and blast media so that only a fraction of the amount of blast media is required when compared to dry blasting. This system allows the operator to increase or decrease the amount of water, blast media and air which gives greater control and precision over the entire blast process.
Dustless Blasting
Ideal for cleaning and/or paint or coating removal from brick, metal, wood, fibreglass and other substrates.
Cushioning Effect
The presence of the water along with the blast media has a cushioning effect along the blast hose which means that no heat, friction or clouds of dust are produced with this preparation or cleaning method. This also helps to prevent warping of the blasted surface.
Best Possible
The combination of water allows the blast media to travel at greater speeds along the hose which enables the blast media to have a more significant effect on impact with the substrate. The water micro-washes the blast media from the blasted surface leaving it clean, profiled and contaminant free. This in turn produces the best possible bonding interface for future protective coatings or linings. This process makes Dustless Blasting an extremely cost effective and environmentally sound surface preparation and treatment method.
